Karen

Karen Surca joined the team at Best Interest Mortgages Inc. as our Content Writer and Communications Assistant. Karen graduated from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver with a Bachelor in Clinical Psychology and International Relations and went on to earn a Post Graduate degree in Communications from Concordia University in Montreal.

After graduating Karen worked at Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine as an Editorial Assistant and later Associate Managing Editor. She went on to write on a freelance basis for various publications in Toronto and London, England including Style at Home Magazine. Karen then put her communication and writing skills to good use on Parliament Hill working for two Federal Members of Parliament as a Communications and Legislative Assistant writing speeches, press releases and constituent correspondence.

After taking time off to be with her three children before they were of school age, Karen Surca joins us using her talent writing articles for our website, publications, handling media-related issues in addition to helping in various areas on mortgage files. A people person, Karen loves using her communications and writing/editing skills within the exciting mortgage sector.
